Radon Services

Experience matters: Saskatchewan’s leading Radon Mitigation professionals.

WHAT IS RADON?

Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally when the uranium in soil and rock breaks down. It is invisible, odourless and tasteless. When radon is released from the ground into the outdoor air, it is diluted and is not a concern.

However, in enclosed spaces like homes, it can sometimes accumulate to high levels, and it is the second leading cause of lung cancer in Canada.  More information…

HOW DO I GET RADON LEVELS IN MY HOME MEASURED?

Call Sun Ridge Residential and our trained Radon technicians will come to your home to deploy a test kit, review the specific details or your home, and conduct a long-term radon test. After 90 days the data collected will determine the annual average level of radon in your home and we will mail you a report.

Sun Ridge also works closely with the Lung Association of Saskatchewan to provide mail-out test kits which can be deployed by homeowners themselves.  Radon Testing information…

WHAT IF MY RADON LEVELS ARE HIGH?

If average annual radon levels are above the limit recommended by Health Canada, Sun Ridge mitigation experts are available to develop mitigation plans, or provide contracted mitigation services to reduce radon to a safe level.  Radon Mitigation information…
